Vision

As Mars Hill Church continues to go up stream and see culture makers transformed by Jesus, we must also reach the next generation of culture makers before they get up stream.  Colleges and universities are some of the most strategic places for spreading the Gospel, given that they are cities within the city.  These micro-cities are arguably the most closely connected and influential networks of people in the city.  The University of Washington alone has 43,000 students at any given time and there are over 27,600 faculty and staff.  We must live for Jesus as a city within this city, knowing its culture and loving its people to see lives transformed to live for Jesus.

There are hundreds of college students at Mars Hill Church who must be equipped and trained to be missionaries on their campuses. The college ministry will be broad enough for any college student, but will be strategically geared and programmed to reach the University of Washington.
