In my experience social networks are quite diverse — I come into contact with many on a daily basis that go beyond the desire to “not be alone”, etc. — many in emerging ‘Make” and geek communities end up generating all sorts of creative projects/ends — and drawing peoples stories out in the mix.
To that end, it seems God is already up to some significant things in the space (from what I’ve seen anyway).
